1. Introduction

2. Services
Grade A Driveways and Landscaping Services provides landscaping, driveway installation, tree surgery, garden maintenance, and related services for residential and commercial properties in Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas.
All services provided by us are subject to these Terms and any additional agreements or contracts entered into between the Company and the client.
3. Quotes and Estimates
Any quotes or estimates provided by the Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the information provided by the client and our assessment of the work required. If the scope of work changes or if unforeseen circumstances arise, the quote may be adjusted accordingly.
All quotes and estimates are subject to a site visit and assessment by our team. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, access, materials required, and other factors.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in the written quote or contract provided to the client. Typically, we require:
- A deposit before commencement of work (usually 30-50% depending on the project size)
- The remaining balance upon completion of the work or as specified in the agreement
Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, cheque, or cash. Credit card payments may be available for certain services.
Late payments may incur additional charges at a rate of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate per annum, calculated daily from the due date until payment is received.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel scheduled services, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply as follows:
- Cancellation more than 7 days before scheduled work: No fee
- Cancellation 3-7 days before scheduled work: 25% of the quoted price
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before scheduled work: 50% of the quoted price
For ongoing contracts, notice periods will be specified in the service agreement.
If work has already commenced and materials have been purchased or delivered, you may be liable for the cost of materials and labor already completed.
6. Warranty and Guarantees
Grade A Driveways and Landscaping Services provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all installation work from the date of completion, subject to proper maintenance and normal use.
This guarantee covers defects in workmanship but does not cover:
- Natural wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper use or maintenance
- Acts of nature (severe weather, flooding, etc.)
- Alterations or repairs made by others
- Settling of soil or ground movement
- Plant material (which may be covered by separate supplier warranties)
Material warranties are subject to manufacturers' terms and conditions and vary by product.
7. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your property and requirements
- Ensuring we have safe and adequate access to your property
- Obtaining any necessary permissions, permits, or planning consents
- Informing us of any underground services, cables, pipes, or structures
- Maintaining installed landscaping and hardscaping appropriately
Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may affect our ability to provide services or may invalidate guarantees and warranties.
8. Our Responsibilities
We commit to:
- Providing services with reasonable skill and care
- Using qualified staff and appropriate equipment
- Complying with all relevant regulations and industry standards
- Carrying appropriate insurance
- Respecting your property and minimizing disruption
- Cleaning up after completion of work
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Grade A Driveways and Landscaping Services or our content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
We may, with your permission, use photographs of completed work for our portfolio, marketing materials, and social media. If you do not wish for us to use images of your property, please inform us in writing.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grade A Driveways and Landscaping Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disaster)
- Epidemic or pandemic
- War, invasion, hostilities, civil war, terrorism, rebellion, or revolution
- Labor dispute, strike, or industrial action
- Government order or law
- Failure of suppliers or subcontractors
- Utility service failure or disruption
- Severe adverse weather conditions
12. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and the Company, we encourage you to contact us directly to seek a resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may initiate mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods.
Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of England and Wales and governed by English law.
13. Changes to Terms
